Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
That's awesome Mike, I'm building my truck with my father and I am thankful for it everyday. Hope your son takes to it like I did with my father. Besides it never hurts to have another set of hands to help you finish that truck.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
let me rephrase that they arent the original guages to this truck seeing it is a 67 , but they are original 70-72 guages with the clock and tach that Ed Dial added when he did the faces

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Ah yes. I spent many hours in the garage with my daughter. Pretty good helper, had the brake bleed job down pat! Now she's in college far away. Boy do I miss my little helper! I must have trained her well, she picked a guy that is a mechanic. I still may have to ruff him up some, but at least he's car guy.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
he done a nice job with the overlay thingies , it looks like the original gauges are behind them , you might even be able to add some small led lights for blinker , highbeam , low gas , battery , and oilpressure in them

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Nice progress on the truck, and congrats on the little man joining the fun. Now you need to go buy another truck for yourself! Sorry to hear about his condition guess I missed that, we'll pray for him too. I only have one kid and shes almost 2 but everytime we go through the garage she points at mine and says "sit? sit? sit? sit?"

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Glad to see you having a good time with your son. I remember going out and working on my 66 stepper with my dad. Some great times. Try to find a cheap truck that will be his, and he'll be hooked for life

Great build. My 16y/o and I are building his first truck together. Having a lot of laughs with each other. Love the time we are spending on it.
