Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Looks like a fairly original short fleet, and priced ok. Seems lately everyone thinks the short wides are made of gold.

Looking to trade my 1970 Chevy C20 for a vehicle I can carry my dogs in. prefer a Chevy product. Blazer, Van something like that. Must be a running driving vehicle. NO JUNK., I value this at around $2500. This has V8 350, AT converted to a 700r so it is now a 4spd. , brand new tires, new brakes all the way around, new shocks, Runs and drives awesome. Has your typical rust on cab. Bed in awesome shape. Would drive it anywhere. $trade

To me the value in this truck is the cab & chassis as long as the back panel was't cut out.

It's hard to tell, but I don't think it's been cut out. No tell tale pics. I think it's pretty nice just as a motor home - if that's what someone buys it for, it's a decent price. We gotta stop listing and talkin about em, price creeps up about $100 with every post... Ha.

He had it listed on Craigslist last summer for $7500. I would love to own it. I wonder if it would make a trip down to North Carolina? Trying to talk my wife into it. Lol

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I saw someone's 1972 lwb 4x4 ochre Sierra on a transport leaving here in Reno. I bet it's a member. It was a nice original two tone with an locally made caravan camper on it. It's on it's way to someone.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Just called about the Eldorado Camper. It's originally from California. Rust free. Camper has a leaking roof over the cab area. Yes, it has access to the camper through the cab but it starts at the top of rear window. Tires are dry rotted. Has been sitting for the last 3 years. It was driven from California years ago and has sat for years. The owner bought it to convert it to a flat bed. His health has kept him from doing anything to the truck. Just wish I had a way to get this thing to NC.

Did anyone notice the K-truck in the back ground of the camper with the for sale sign in the back window?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

A camper shell I'd buy in a heartbeat if I only lived closer - exactly what I've been looking for... and only $200 (and the truck's pretty awesome too). Nice guy, asked if he was a member in a follow-up email, haven't heard back yet. If anyone happens to be driving from MT to TX in the very near future, please let me know and I'll make it worth your time.

Yep, that is board member coatinguy... Good luck dealing with him. He didn't take me for any money but never followed through on anything at all!
