Lookin goooood!

Blue on the buffing pad threw me off for a minute, been about 20 years since I've seen any color on a buffing pad......I was like "oh no, he buffed through the clear!" then remembered you shot single stage.

Thanks for your tips, I watched quite a few You Tube videos to refresh my memory and for tips like yours. One guy was going a third step with 3M Ultrafina, but it was on a black car. The internet makes stuff like this so much easier, I used to have to ask old timers about their tricks and I'm sure they never told me everything I needed to know.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I looked at the first page and then just skipped to the end because I'm not into burbs.

That's a nice crew cab, i thought 1973 was the first year, I guess Gm made a few 72's?

There was a company that did crew cab conversions for some companies...but GM didn't make a crew cab out of 67-72's...

Well come on, Drew! If you didn't take so long on this thing...taking so many pictures and writing this build up like a dissertation, and Jonathan (VA72C10) and 67cheby posting so often, we might have something that the average person could read in one sitting

JK! This build is awesome and worth the read

Me too. But it's bad for a guy that wants a crew cab 67-72 though.

Me too, but I just don't see me having the intestinal fortitude and bank roll Drew has so I don't see me with a crew anytime soon. So I'll just keep coming here for a daily fix.

I agree 100% with this....I REALLY want a crew cab now...if I had an opportunity to get one almost complete in my budget (not happening ) I'd sell my wife's old honda van in a heartbeat and make the crewcab our daily driver since we don't put many miles on a vehicle...

WOW, your a brave guy posting pics wearing that kind of "getup", at least the whole family was into it, and made your pants sort of blend in to the surroundings.

Hope you had a great holiday, now go put that trim on already!!!!
