Nice wagon and Yes, All very nice. Can't wait for the fall weather to get out to a few show-n-shines around here, right now it's entirely too damned hot, plus almond harvest is in full swing, so we have dust everywhere...and allergies!

That orange paint on that 67 really jumps out at you!

thank you sir.i've had the wagon since 1999,bought it in Blueridge,Ga from the man who bought it new but it sat for years and years.alot of work to get it back up and running and looking like something.the paint on that 67 was almost Peach but with the sun shining on it,made it look more orange than it was,but very nice.

That looks like fun!

I like the Corvair in the back of the one pic. Since the Corvair thread I've kind of got the itch to get one. (again)

An old guy up here was selling one just down the street from me for $300. Great deal. Only problem is that I wasn't up here at the moment. I was in Los Angeles. It was gone by the time I got here.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I remember in high school a classmate had a black Corvair Monza Spyder I believe it was with thin white walls and wire wheel covers w/spinners and chrome tips on the exhaust pipes. Had that larger engine. Man, that was a sharp car.

I've never had one either had one either. But I always wanted one.

I guess it's in my blood. When I was a kid there was a neighbor that had 2 of them. A 66 coupe and a 64 Spyder convertible with the turbo. I just thought that they were cool as all get out.

The coupe was yellow. We called it the "Cheese Vair'

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Speaking of Corvairs... Waldo Davis. that man inspired me into auto restorations. A friend's dad, ole waldo was always out in the garage shop or in the driveway tinkering with his Corvairs. This was before they were antique but AACA voted them in as classics due to their otherwise historic value. Every nut and bolt on down to the stencil and crayon markings, absolute detail. Richard, my friend, had a Spyder convertible. I kept up with Waldo after Richard moved to Florida. I was 20 when I bought a '66 VW Bus. He let me pull an 85hp from one of his parts cars and have it. I feel bad I never did do that swap after he did that for me. I always wanted a Corvair-powered VW camper

Not familiar with this event and how do you explain it to the environmentalist?

In fact, I would be surprised if they were not there protesting. Just curious.

Small plastic ducks for fundraising events.... They have numbers on the bottom and a few are netted as they float down stream to determine the winners of the prizes. Around here they have a large net downstream a ways to catch them. Some may also be bio-degradable....

I just dumped rubber ducks like you plated with in the tub as a kid. They dropped in chain link fence to catch them all. Home Depot buckets with hole in them to dridge them all out of the river. The ducks are shipped all over the world for different events.

I didn't do anything but Froggy is on the truck heading home from Tucson AZ.

I can't wait to open up that 2180 in the desert. I'll probably roll it. But it has a roll cage and I have a hard head.

That looks like my rubber ducky that I play with in the bathtub.

There's nothing wrong or weird with that? Right?

Nah. I didn't think so.

If it has a winning number on the bottom I could see you becoming attached. You know , sentimental reasons.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

My wifes boss some years ago had the winning number of a plastic duck that floated down the Cowlitiz River into the Columbia River ,, she does not remember anymore what he won ,, but there were like 10,000 ducks let loose and the almost all of them went to the Pacific Ocean and back with the tides until they finally went away.
