Finally the ground is firm enough to back the C10 out of the garage. Rain in Florida this year has been non stop and the yard was a swamp.

Bought some YOM plates for my 67. Found out in CO you only have to run YOM plates on the back and the registration is free. Pretty killer.

Replaced all windshield washer hoses and tested system. Final step on hidden sound system. Bill |

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
I'm running a flex-a-lite dual fan set up that I could find to cover the radiator. i have no complaints, it keeps it running cool and is trouble free. My set up has been on the truck for several years, I just retorted the wiring to clean up the engine bay.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II
Well, it wasn't today, but I've made progress on the engine. Turns out the valves were not the issue, the lifters were, so out they came, along with the stock cam.
New cam should arrive tomorrow, and then it's on to the heads. The double humps still need a rebuild, but I have a set of TBI heads that will work for the time being, just need to clean them up and put them on.

Painted the bottom of my cab with Kirker Inferno Red Metallic with clear on top. Used a cheapo Harbor Freight gun. The picture makes the color look burnt orange for some reason.
