Re: Daverods project 66

Car show in Logan on the July 4 weekend. Then boise the next week end. Spent the day sanding on my truck. Got a couple steering u joints from the brown truck guy. Hopefully I'll get some steering hooked up. Swaped one of my fenders for one Zack gave me. I tryed to make the old one work but it was kinda bent.

Re: Daverods project 66

Well the guy wanted 4500 for the fo#d so I passed on that. I was looking for some steering u joints, nothing. Big swap meet in Logan Utah on the 4th. I'm sure I'll find somthing I don't need there. The truck was barn fresh. Really nice on the inside.

Re: Daverods project 66

You should come down here to the Pomona Swap Meet at the Fairplex some time. I guarantee you will find something to buy. It the biggest in the world. You need more than a day to see the whole thing. Even if your not in the market to buy anything.
You can stay at the Mr & Mrs Strodder's B&B.

I think I'll have some drinks on Dec 1st My parents go to Yuma every winter. I might have to go visit them. Your place would be on the way. One of these years. When I get rich.

Re: Daverods project 66

My father in law brought me some Tequila from across the border from Yuma in Algadones.
Paid $1.28 a fifth, WOW!! That was Nasty stuff .He said it used to be priced under a dollar maybe 5 years ago. It would have made good paint stripper as it was to terrible to drink.
I bet Dennis buys the good stuff

If you go to Yuma this winter ,you can visit my in-laws and You can haul some more rocks back to Idaho for them .. Personally I think Idaho has enough rocks now so I am done with that moving adventure. ( I went to Yuma this spring to help them haul furniture back to Idaho and ended up moving rocks 1000 miles with very expensive diesel prices)

Re: Daverods project 66

I was thinking I would just pick up a couple teeth they are a lot easier to carry. I was wanting to buy a bike and make a bike trip out of it. That might not work so well in the winter.

We use to stick a bottle of that in a watermelon then eat it. I don't know about going blind but I will say it made me see 3 of every thing. It was like having sex with 3 chicks.

Re: Daverods project 66

I use Jose Cuervo Gold only. But there are better tequila's out there. When I'm as rich as Dave I'll buy it.

Back in the cave man days I used to hog out a watermelon, and fill it with chunks of watermelon, and other fruits. Then put some Rum, or Vodka, or Jack in it. Some times all three.
