Re: Project Blue Goose
I didn't get time to install it but here goes a few pics. Also the bolts on the cover are to long so I have to correct that still.

Re: Project Blue Goose
I placed an order with PB for a bent track bar. I also located some NOS parts for my SM420 transmission. I needed a new 3rd gear and I found one local

Re: Project Blue Goose
I got my new bent PB track bar and it looks like it will clear the Moser cover so off to P.C. this week.
I had to rearrange my garage also, I put the frame on some cheap HF moving dollies and it works out good.

Re: Project Blue Goose
Thanks, I used it at my previous job. I can't bring my self to sell it in case I ever need it for future employment.
It's probably 10 years old and IMO was the best box on the market. Yes I felt it was better than Snap-on and still do ![]() I'll have to post some more pics. I made a side holder for my pry bars and larger screw drivers. The tool rep. really liked the idea and took pics for Matco.

Re: Project Blue Goose
Here goes more pics since you guys are enjoying it so much ......
I made the holders for the air tools, spray cans, and pry bars. I haven't used many of the tools since I switched jobs but most come in handy ![]()

Re: Project Blue Goose
Thanks for the extra pictures. I can't wait till the day I have an organized well made toolbox. I'd really like to have a nice selection of pry bars like you have too. One thing is certain, you can never have too many tools.

Re: Project Blue Goose
Congrats! Looks like a keeper! Any updates or progress on the truck? Obviously you've been busy recently with something else!

Hey Slick, Thanks for the comments ![]() I haven't done much on the truck. I was hoping to get the brake lines ran but life got in the way once again. This truck hasn't been top priority for a long time. A lot of things have changed and are still changing, mostly for the better. We are trying to close on a 4br house currently that has a 2 car garage ![]()

Re: Project Blue Goose
I'm obviously very late to this build but I had a quick question?
What wheels are you using with the disc conversion? I was wanting to keep the original steel wheels with my 67 with the dog dish hubs but those won't work with the disc conversion. Are you wheels from a later model 4x4? Did I miss that on the thread somewhere? Great build and great color. Looking forward to seeing the progress as life allows. |

![]() We are going to be moving soon and I should have room to gather up my parts that are at my uncle's house and his camp. Not sure if I'll have room for the cab though. I just need to make time and go up camp and work on the cab but with the family it's not as easy any more. If I recall the cab needs one cab corner, one rocker and two cab mounts repaired. I may end up replacing the other rocker but we'll see.

Re: Project Blue Goose
It's been awhile since I did any work on the truck. Sold the HD last week so I can fund this project and get it finished.
I talked to Boris today from Street Machinery and he may be helping out this Spring... I hope to be posting some progress as I plan on doing the brake lines and what ever small stuff...
