Re: Crushing Gumby 71 Shortbed Patina build
Wow sorry buddy, I missed this question. I got a pair of Custom Auto Sound under seat boxes. You get a pair in the kit and they have a nice slim fit. I got mine from Classic Parts of America, they are a board advertiser so look for their banner ad.

Re: Crushing Gumby 71 Shortbed Patina build
You got it! More updates, looks like my valve covers are coming right along! Love that detail on the raised script.
I got an old Offy intake manifold for my motor that has raised lettering as well so that will be getting some black detail paint here soon too. It should all look really killer when thats done!

Re: Crushing Gumby 71 Shortbed Patina build
Accuair getting installed today. Since Im running the stock fuel tank we elected to move the equipment to the back of the truck so they can be easily accessed when the tail gate is down.
I am going to build a removable fill panel to cover the gap between the new raised bed floor and the bottom of the tailgate. That way its nice and clean and easily removable. Need some more ARP 12 point fasteners....

Re: Crushing Gumby 71 Shortbed Patina build
Thanks buddy! Haven't had any time to get and ad made for the 65 yet. We have been car shopping trying to figure out what modern car we are going to buy. Not really my thing, but it has to be done. Im sure the 65 will go rather quickly once I get to listing it.

Yep big things going on there these days. Once that long bed is off the lift, Gumby starts moving ahead full steam!

Last year the debut was the gray 55 Pre A sunroof car. Ill tell you though, shiny paint cars are a major pain in the ass to keep clean... These cars just sit in the garage under a cover and only come out for show days. Pretty to look at but not much in the way of usability. Thats why I have gumby! Hope you guys dig them.
