Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
11K can get you a lot more than that. For $7K more you could have a completed rig like http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1050070425.html
or start with as much of a project for $3,500 http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1059456958.html This one's nice too http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1036336262.html

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Dumb question: how much better do the 2wd blazers ride than 4wd? I have only owned/rode in 4wd blazers/trucks. I really don't need 4wd year round and would like to find a 2wd.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
do you guys use craigshelper? If so, any tips? I've got some good searches set up on ebay but they don't translate to craigshelper.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Wow, that top one sounds like a deal for 12K....I'm guessing it's not as nice as it seems in person for that price (ie. hacked drop job and bondo under paint....but who knows...seems like a really good deal if it's nice)

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Yeah, it looks like it's a good deal to me too. I'm guessing he price is lower because it's a converted 4wd.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I've been having trouble linking ebay auctions lately too. Anyway, that Blue one has been listed at least 3 times before. It looks nice!

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
I am definitely in the market for a 2wd and don't care if it's a converted 4wd as that should keep the cost down of course...Let me know if you guys find anything on the east coast. I check craigshelper, ebay, etc weekly at least and daily most of the time...but always seem to miss something.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Thanks...any chance you've seen that one...looks like it would be pretty rough especially at that price...but if it's decent, It'd be worth shipping.
Honestly I am leaning towards a 4wd to convert now...for some of the reasons I read in your thread (trailing arms having to be modded, etc.) Plus, the converted 4wd w/ a dropmember and notch would go a little lower than a 2wd from what I have been told.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread
Ive started looking for a 2wd or even a clean 4wd to convert. If anything comes up in AZ I would like to see it. I will keep my eye on this thread.
