Re: WTB magazine ad

Jesus... I now feel your pain.

I found the ad, I fell in love with it. HAD to have it.

I decided to put it in auctionsniper.com for as high as 45$....

and my auctionsniper account had the wrong ebay password.

Now, I am doomed to repeat your history.

F**K

Re: WTB magazine ad

BTW, my girlfriend rocks. She found the magazine date and issue and I found 3 on Ebay for under $3 each.

teeitup, you NEED to find out what it was IN, and it does make life easier.

PS. Mine was Life magazine, so it also means its HUGE

Looks like they've got several brochures and ads but not the one I'm looking for. Of course I might have missed it.

One really stretch of a resource.. find out what ad agency had GM in 1971 and see if they still exist or start googling for their archives...

Re: WTB magazine ad

I would say, start buying on ebay all the life or time magazines on ebay from jan-mar of your model year as well. might cost you a few bucks, but well worth it.

Re: WTB magazine ad

Check out posts #s 154-159 for a lil chuckle about that ad you found. I've also bought gobs of mags from 71-72 lookin for it, so far I've got zilch! Well not really zilch.....just not the original ad I was looking for.

I Want ZOOM Tubes!!!!!!!

I`ve flown around the world

Sailed the seven seas

Traveled the globe

Had summits with great minds

And,still cannot find this ever evassive single page from the many magazines it had been placed in.Is there no justice. One man`s quest surely should be fullfilled when such committment and dedication has been put into this ever so humble request.

Re: WTB magazine ad

Monroe Swap Meet in WA next weekend. I have found pieces of literature there that I never knew existed...HOW HARD CAN THIS BE???? I also have over 10,000 SI magazines in inventory...wonder if it is in one of those? I will print this out and take it with me to the swap meet. When I have some time to kill...I will load up my coffee cup with rocket fuel and wander over to the 3-4 vendors that specialize in this material...wish me luck.
