your project rocks. are you keeping the original paint on the body? the white frame is a nice touch. think the original olive would look trick.

Re: "Old Olive" 1970 C10 porterbuilt build
Thank you sir!
Got a little more done on the truck recently, but have been busy at work. The raised bedfloor frame is completed and at powder coat right now. Should have it back later this week. Got the Hart Rods Chubtubz installed as well, these are custom rear tubs that are 7" wider than stock to clear the big pirelli 405/25r24 tires. I believe these tubs are now 19.5" wide. Dont mind the different color primer, they will be painted eventually. Started buttoning up the LS engine. Got the LS3 heads bolted on with the ARP bolts, new big Texas Speed cam is in 229/236, .624/.615, 112 LSA Should have a nice lope to it. New Rollermaster timing set, .650 double valve springs, pushrods, solid roller lifters, Hooker headers that are tight to the engine to clear the steering with the Porterbuilt stuff...etc

Re: "Old Olive" 1970 C10 porterbuilt build
Thanks fellas!
Got the raised bedfloor frame back from powder coat. Testing the ChubTubz too, they will be painted. Also had the bottom side of the bedfloor sand blasted and primed for paint. I'll spray a flat black on the bottom. Didn't want the rusty bottom dripping on my fresh white frame. Should tuck those 24x15" Intros nicely

Re: "Old Olive" 1970 C10 porterbuilt build
Any thought of painting the inside of the bed the original color with some flat clear?
It would give it a clean look.

Top notch work! Love how the tilt bed floor turned out. I'll be attempting something similar. Frame looks great as well.

I'm digging the floating manifold. That's one of my largest concerns is how and where I'll mount all of mine.

Re: "Old Olive" 1970 C10 porterbuilt build
i just seen the add oil tag on the rear end housing. i have a shop in the back of san diego gear and axle. i now recognize that rear differential housing. this town is getting smaller every time i get on here.
