‘62 GMC.. 305 V6 does NOT run.. You CANNOT drive it home.. good unmolested truck for the patina look. Has some normal rust above windshield-front cab supports should be replaced. Rust seen in fenders and back uprights of bed.. great project truck. Don’t offer me half of what I’m asking.. it’s kicked out of the shop for a short while as I work on something else.. call me at 7sixzero473foureight14 . I will not respond to DM’s. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...9-33322731f916 1966 Chevy C10 long bed sportside. Chevy v8 with a 4 speed. Looks like a fairly fresh 283. Has a new clutch pressure plate and bearing. I drove the truck home prior to disassembling it. Everything is including the wood for the bed which I already refinished it and the stainless bed straps which are in great condition. The Body is super solid as well as the floors and undercarriage. I lowered it 4inches in the rear and 3 inches in the front. Has a good seat and good carpet. All the glass is good except the windshield which has a few sander marks from the previous owner. Has new wheels and tires and the the fuel tank has been relocated. I cleaned up the engine and engine compartment. The bumpers are both there as well as the front grill and head lights and all in great shape. My intention was to finish it but I have it as far as I can get it and can't get it into a paint shop as soon as would like. Send me your email if your interested and I'll call you back. I purchased this from the original owner and the GemTop shell was put on the day he bought the truck new. Typical rust these trucks had is no different here. Minimal compared to some! But it does have the usual spots. It's got 57k original miles and from what it took to snap the motor back to running well , including a rebuild on the carb...its safe to assume he never exceeded 45 to 50 mph in this thing! Loads of carbon buildup. It drives and shifts as if it were new. Amazing how well the clutch and drive train operate after this many years. I purchased this to haul a vintage camper but now going a different route. An additional perk to this is I also have a 1981 chevy 350 motor with the EXACT same 57k miles on it that is an effortless swap for the 283 if you wanted more power and a 4 barrel vs 2. The 350 is turn key and complete carb to pan . This truck still has its original paint .
