It is all from Early Classic Enterprises 4.5"/6" drop kit, 2-1/2" drop spindles w/ 6-lug disc conversion, 2" drop front coils, 6" drop rear coils, rear shock relocators, super panhard bar, with KYB Gas-a-just shocks all around, and a 1-1/4" front sway bar.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
I don't believe it is, yet. I think Bill only has issues with it bottoming out when he hauls pianos or something heavy.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Not much of a build thread. I guess it is good for now that the only real thing I have been doing is driving it. I did do a full service today. Man, when you remember to grease stuff is sure makes the suspension quiet
Since I had it all jacked up, I did try some wheels I had found on Craigslist. They were 17x8. Not happy with the look and the backspace is a bit too much, so I would need about a 3/4 to 1" spacer. So I guess they will go on the 02, the 07, or back on Craigslist till I find something else. Mostly I took the Mule out for a nice fall day drive. Guess I'll need to clean it now, but I'll probably postpone that too since driving is so much more fun

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
There's nothing wrong with driving it instead of building it . I wish I was at that stage myself Bill .

Driving them is what it's all about. Nothing to be ashamed of that you don't have to fix anything. Most of us wish that. I really like your truck, very nice. Don't change a thing.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Can you get a wheel the same as whats on it but bigger diameter? I like those wheels on your truck. Just a thought.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Not much work time on the actual Mule today, drove it and cleaned up a few things that just tended to get tossed somewhere in the shop in my laziness. I did read the directions for installing my rear anti-roll/sway bar.
For those of you who know when it was, one of the things I finally got off the slung here pile was my Hot Rod Power tour plate. (what back in April? ) It is finally hanging proud in the shop. I am planning over the Christmas holidays to mount the rear bar, but we'll see if laziness continues to prevail.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Morning Bill,
Well, I have to say, for me to get my garage just sorted out and back to the level of workability that I like, would take a week or more. You just take your time.......... And drive your truck and post us lookers photos of it in random places. (Maybe that's a reasonable thread idea.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Well the Mule went thru some changes today on a friendly drive to Baton Rouge. He sort of changed a bit, and I am sure this isn't just the second time it has flipped over.
Not much else to show for the drive, we were under super fog most of the day, even on our trip back near lunch time. But it was a great drive and fun seing the Mule do the turn over. Of course had a few nice trucks to drool over. The 56 was a new guy to our meets, so it was fun to see another sweet ride. Well on with the rest of the weekend. Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I am on this side of the dirt and never figured I would make 61 with my past.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Love the Rat Rod Garage sign so cool. On the odometer its pretty neat to watch them turn over, It would be nice to know how many miles are actually on all these old trucks for sure.

Re: The Old Mule - 64 BBW
Mule and I went to the C/10 Roundup show today. Lot of great looking trucks. I think yesterday was the first time the Mule saw a bath since October. It was nice to see him all cleaned up (well as clean as a mule can get) and ready to cruise
The GMC camper and the white 53 were the show winners Link will take you to the photos I took.
