This needs to come back to the top! It's been awhile - show your custom campers! Or even someone else's if we haven't seen it here lately.

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

(robs71) That's a nice looking 68 C20 you got there. i love the 67/68 front ends. my 72is only a C10. when I purchased it,I didn't think I would need anything bigger than it, buy I have realized quickly, using mine as a everyday light work truck/Daily Driver that I should've been looking for a 8 lugger, lol. Question?; what's the numbers at the bottom front quarter of the bed, are they DOT numbers?

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

numbers on bed..i put the 7500 on for the local quarry scale.I do not take it over 7500 pounds when hauling stone or sand. This way when I am being loaded the operator can quit loading before having me overloaded....could haul more but do not like to push it...

Maybe O'Betsy (#294) has the same mirrors I'm looking for. (on my truck just the brackets remaining.
I would like to have some measurement (between screws and between brackets) and information about this brackets/mirrors. Detailled pictures highly appreciated, see also:

Does somebody has still contact to Tims-1968camper or knows where the truck (#294) is today. Would like to have some detailed pictures of the camper mirrors?

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!

Welcome Tim, that's a great looking rig - would love to see more pics, especially of the inside. Any more details on the truck? C30 I assume - big block?? Do tell. Thanks for sharing. And welcome from a former Ridgecrest resident! Still miss the high desert, I have to admit. Just not the sandblast winds.

Wow, awesome thread, just learning auto mechanics, 1969 c20 longhorn custom. Camper, had it four years, day two found 1971 vistaliner, son drove truck to highschool now it's restore time! Just posted an Emblem question before I saw this, How to Install. And where they go?
