Got some one of the driver side floors installed. All the wiring mess it turn signals and headlights. Getting close to being able to finish that up soon.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Got everything all braced up. Driver side is ready for a floor plan. Decided not to make one just yet and went about mounting the gas tank.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Think it turned out good for my first ever bead rolled panel. Looked good when installed. Now just like 12' more to go to the back bumper. Lol

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
After working that bedside panel some I decided to cut it out and start over with another section I had. I then worked on the wheel well arches. From there I made the piece from the bumper to the wheel arches. I then finished by fixing the piece from the from the door to the bedside. Sorry for the crappy pic.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
I'm usuing 18g galvanneal which runs just under $20 a sheet. It doesn't rust which is cool. As far as making it to the show. Not sure. It's gonna be tough. I needed some extra help today/small miracle and I found this shirt so it only seemed the right thing to wear. Lol

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Got the last of the wiring done (except finish the headlights/marker lights) and mounted the fuse box. Also finished up mounting the gas tank and got it all plumbed in. Added some gas and it fired right up and actually ran better than it ever has. Excuse the crappy strap holding the filter down. No parts store had one so I made that thing real quick till I can order one

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Cleaned up my hellhole of a garage and then started on some body work on the drivers side. If I'm going to attempt to make it to a show I at least want it to look somewhat decent and lay out fully. Had some school work to do so I got this tacked in and went home. Hopefully finish up the rest of it tomorrow.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Got some more work done on it yesterday and then had to start putting it all back together to try and get it in for an alignment. Still not sure if I'll make it to the show or not but I'm gonna try. Lol.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
I saw that. And in that case it's not coming. Not going to risk it to sit in the rain. Although my wipers are wired in and work. All one speed of glory!

LOL! Your still doing better than me, all I got is rain-x! I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to be stranded in the rain either. Are you going to try to go to the rev-up?

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Not sure. Some of my friends are heading down Saturday and some are coming Sunday morning. We are planning on staying Sunday night. If I drive it I would rather head down Sat but if it comes down to it I will need all the time I can get. Going to a concert Friday night my gf bought us tickets to months ago so no work will happen that night.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Drove the truck to my buddy's place about 15 minutes away. It ran and drove great. Drove it home and right before I got there I saw smoke. Popped the hood and the tranny cooler was pouring fluid out. Bypassed the cooler and added some fluid. Tried driving to work this morning and it ran pretty rough. Limped it back to my other garage where I work on it and it died. Heard the fuel pump running kind of loud so I looked in the tank...... completely empty. Got lucky I made it home. Lol. Guess that's what I get for not having a working fuel guage currently.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
Being a wimp and not driving it to beatersville. Not enough miles on it to feel comfortable....... But I'm bringing it down into town on a trailer and driving to the show so she will be there.
