Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Been busy at work latley so I havent gotten much done. I picked up a big air tank, all my air tubing and new fuel tubing yesterday so I will start getting those run next.

Today I made some filler panels for the front fenders. Its kind of hard to tell in the pictures but they have the same size and profile as the factory ones. The factory ones just looked bad from where I cut them. Hopefully they will never be noticed once they are finished. I will get them painted when we re-paint the fenders.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

I got the airline tubing run and I think I am going to have to add some kind of heat shield to protect them from the heat coming off the headers.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

I was trying to keep as much of my original floor as possible. It sure would have made things easier to just make a new one. Still gotta get the gas tank figured out too.

Sikkk. Don't really think that the new parts will make it much better because this is a awesome build already. Luv wheel and column.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Got the column in. Guess I could have taken the old gauge cluster out before I took the picture.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

Looks great. Are you going to wrap that wheel? I would think it would get hotter than hell in the Texas heat.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban

I had several old dashes so I put one good one together until I can get a nicer set of gauges.
