Finally the driveshaft is done. Once it stops being 18 deg out I am going to air this thing up and finish the drivetrain. Install shocks and go for a shakedown run.

This little guy is taking most of my time. Oliver, he a a Frenchton which is a cross breed of a Frenchbulldog and a Boston Terrier. Lots of fun, crazy smart, lots of energy. He is currently 3 months old.

Is that the Gilmer pulley set? That's what I got on mine, I want the same air cleaner and valve covers that your running. Do u like the way that wider belt sounds? I listened to some on YouTube and I like it. You got any comments on how yours sounds and runs. Mines not at the driving stage yet.

Hahaha. I know, damn port-0-walls. I have G78's and chrome smoothies after the body work is done. I thought the port-0-walls would work but they dont lay flat on a radial.

Right now I am open headers so its hard to hear the wine but it is there. I like it!!!!

Oliver just made my wife pee herself in little bits...... ( no, not really) but she desperately WANTS him.

What a beaut he is.

Thanks for reading the thread. Glad I could provide some motivation. I need to get off my ass. I have the money to finish it all but I cant bear myself to spend it. I go into big savings modes, then big spending. Right now I need to figure out if Uncle Sam owes me or I owe him. Then I can build my movie theater in the basement and finish the truck.

In regards to Oliver, thanks!! Tell you wife sorry, but she can't have him! I love this guy, he is sitting, does double high fives, shakes my hand, stays, and goes on his pad every time, all at 3 months. This guy may be smarter then me! If you are in VA the breeder is amazing, Dark Hollow Pups, I highly recommend their dogs.

Re: My Build: Home Depot Machine

1. been missing your build.
2. just talked to my wife about "If we were going to get a small dog, this is what I would want..." and showed her your Oliver.

We may have struck a compromise in my house!!
On dogs anyways....

Now she is searching them and gasping at the $$$$$ LOL

Problem is...... They are worth every cent you spend on them DAMHIK

We have three rescue cats aged between 7-12 and in spite of being less rewarding than dogs, the pleasure they give us is worth every penny.

Remind your wife that these are gifts that just keep on giving. They will NEVER intentionally screw up your life.

I am so glad you are considering this breed. I have had a few dogs over the years, as well as had roomates with other breeds. This is the most amazing breed and unfortunately you have to pay for that. Coming from a amstaff pitt I wanted a manly dog that wouldn't tear the house up or I would fear could hurt my future children. This is the best compromise on size, manliness, and fun. They are smart, dont shed, easy to train, and the PERSONALITY!!! wow he is worth every penny I paid x10!!!! Now most go for 3-4K but I found a breeder in my state that wanted 1.1k. That covers breeding costs, Cesarian section, and their time. OThers charging 2.5k+ are doing it for profit. So do you research.
There are only two downfalls, one is they fart, he actually ripped one as I was typing this!! HAHA. The other downfall is you want to get another one because they are so much fun.

Back to truck stuff my accuair is in the mail! Then its off to the exhaust shop. Winter is not a motivating time to work on a truck that has to sit outside. I will get this thing rolling down the road asap.

Re: My Build: Home Depot Machine

So the weather is warming up and I decided to start spending the money. Accuair is ordered and I have the tracking numbers!!! Should arrive in a few days and then its time to air this thing up and start driving it. It will head to the exhaust/transmission shop by the end of March.

Generic pic, but I love the EXO Mount design it will all be nicely installed under the bed. iLevel will be installed later, I just want to put all the $$ into body work and a big ol nasty cam first.

And Oliver is getting bigger 15+lbs at the moment 4 months old

Re: My Build: Home Depot Machine

Thanks guys. I reread my thread. It gives me a ton of motivation to finish it. It really sucks how life gets in the way. Granted I had a wedding, and a honeymoon, but when I returned I got sidetracked renovating my house. I am a bathroom remodel and a full basement finish/theater/bar/pool lounge. I told my wife I need to finish the truck before we start any other projects. Amazingly she is totally fine with it. So back to the grindstone!!

Thanks McMurphy. It's hard to be motivated with no garage and freezing temperatures. Now that its warming up I can bear to be outside. I don't know if you really live in Alaska, but props for working in the environment if you do!

I know man it's crazy, and the trip is free! We only pay for the flight. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity before we have kids in the mix. Free house to stay in and per diam food/fun allowance. We couldn't pass it up.

Yes sir, I really and truely do live up here.

If that link does not work, it is posted on page 30 of my build.

I think it is totally awesome that your wife is an actress !! A trip to Australia is just icing on that cake !!
My wife and I are kind of movie nuts, any chance of a title so we can look the movie up?
Sorry if this jacks your build thread into a fandom thread for your wife...
