my current project...
I saved it from a Southern Indiana field. It at least starts and moves on its own power now but it still has a ways to go. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II
Just picked this up. I'm the third owner, the other two being my good friend and his grandpa. I have some plans for it. I'm pretty excited, I haven't had a project in about 7 years. 1987, 350 TBI, power windows and locks, cruise, A/C (not working), dual tanks. I'm planning on taking the hose and the vacuum to it this weekend.

Howdy, I've been registered with this forum since 2007 and finally getting around to posting my truck. It's a 1986 Wrangler, one owner (Me).

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II
Picked up this 1973 K20 last wk for a few grand from original owner. He'd done quite a few things to it over the years, runs like a top. Dana 60 rear 4.10 gears, dana 40 front, Everything works great still. Decent amount of rust... but not bad. Gonna make a great projects and occasional commuter. I forget what year the bed and doors are from 80 something so they are pretty rust free.

My 77 Silverado I got on Tuesday. Original paint, 350 out of a later truck. Can anyone tell me what color this is? I'm uploading from my phone so hopefully it works

Beautiful Truck! I live in Georgia, and have been looking for a long bed 4x4 for some time in good shape. They are almost extinct. Very nice truck, enjoy!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II
Saved another square from rotting away! It's a little rough around the edges and it could use some TLC but it does run really strong. It's a 1978 K20 400 small block with a TH400 transmission and NP203. Hopefully this one will a good work horse so that the other one that's been gone through doesn't get beat up.

Sweet. Looks very original. Is that a local truck? I grew up in Moscow and don't remember seeing a Beau James around.

It was originally sold at a dealership down in Enterprise. It stayed down there until the gentleman I purchased it from brought it here a few years ago.
