Good idea on flipping the fuse block upside down - I have the exact same Builder & never have liked how everything comes out of the bottom. The rear harness junct box is great idea too - definitely doing that this round on my truck build.

Mocking up the radiator shroud out of cardboard to fit the Jeep Grand Cherokee electric fan. I had planned on using the factory shroud with the GC fan but I didn't like the way it was fitting...

OK.. back at it again … working on a parking brake and some fuel lines.
For the parking brake I have an E-Stopp actuator. There's a button on the dash where the cigarette light used to be. The actuator is mounted on one of the cross sills for the bed. I drew up a rear mounting plate and had it cut out of stainless steel. Two stainless bolts go through the sill and the other two sandwich the plate. For the cables I used some Speedway Motors brand 108" universal cables. The threaded ends and lever pulls fit my late model 2005 AAM 14BFF emergence brake perfectly. I will add some stainless brackets to hold the cables away from moving parts and out of harms way...

My fuel line from front to back started as a roll of 3/8 NiCopp line. I used Notchead line clamps to mount the line to the top of the driver side frame. I have 1" ORD machines aluminum body lift pucks to help clear the lines. The flex line front and back will be a Dorman fuel fix parts in nylon with the OEM fuel connector. I wrapped it in Tech Flex and used some heat shrink on both ends to hold the wrap in place. I may add a real heat shield on the front section as it runs near the driver side exhaust manifold...

The fuel filler neck still needs to be shortened as it doesn't line up with the bed floor underneath. It points to the frame instead of over it and into the custom fuel tank. I cut a stainless ring the mount the neck more securely as the plastic was showing cracks by the mounting holes.

Here is the #captainfab HB plate and firewall mount with my 2005 HB and MC. I added a bracket for the Wilwood proportioning valve to the side of the firewall mount... Just need to sort out the lines. I was going to run -AN adapters and flex lines to the proportioning valve but I think I'll just make some hard lines.

Can someone confirm the Hydro-Boost Lines:
HI input - FROM Power Steering Pump
HI Output - TO Power Steering Box
LO Output - RETURN to reservoir

Also, can someone confirm the Front Port on the master cylinder is for the front brake circuit and rear for rear? I'm think it's logical but I want to make sure before I actually start bending hard lines....

I also changed direction on the shifter, to make it a little more user friendly....
I got one of the new Lokar Sport Shifters that allows you to Tap Shift up or down with the electronic 4L80e transmission.
I'll have to wok on a center console with some cup holders now...

I also ordered a Remote Keyless Entry and Push Button start kit from Digital Guard Dawg. I added the remote start option and I'll be using a late model Escalade button...

I hated this in my truck.

It constantly killed batteries, seeking the remote. It wouldn't always start the engine, either, there was no way to crank until it started, etc. My truck had an LQ9 with a blower.

You'd be better off doing something CANBUS.

I picked up a late model 2007+ Tahoe center console.
Test fit and too tight between the seats so I'll have to make new mounts.
I have the Lokar Sport shifter and the cable operated twin sticks for the NP205...

Remade the seat base bracket... I tried with some 1" square tube but it was too tall. I swapped out for some angle iron and trimmed the edge down to 3/8.
CNC some new seat risers that were lower than my first design... just need to tack weld everything for a test fit....
These are for the 99-06 Silverado seats with the seatbelt built in...

After the driver seat was installed i started on mounting the Lokar sport shifter. Drew up a bracket to mount the shifter to the floor and another for the transfer case shifter. I use nutserts to bolt everything down. After some fine tuning of the plastic they both fit snug in the console. The cable should clear the exhaust but I'll probably find some heat shield to slipnover the cable.
