Replying to your February 17, 2015 message, if you can verify you have the rear most frame member z shaped plate and front GMC 4 X 4 bumper brackets I would like them. Thanks Br.

Re: Parting out 72 GMC K20 4x4 350-TH350

Hey tom I guess I need to be more specific. What I am looking for is a complete 4x4 frame. No springs or steering. Or transmission mount. I don't need the engine mount crossmember either as I plane to do a ls swap. I do need all riveted mounts to remain on the frame. My frame has 56" rear springs. Can you measure your frame rear spring length as I ordered lift springs already.
I am thinking road trip unless you have a good way to ship.
Thanks Scott

Re: Parting out 72 GMC K20 4x4 350-TH350

Oh boy, now I don't know which crank pulley I need. I will definitely take the short water pump pulley and probably the 2 groove cast. Did the 72 use cast though? Also, in that above pic, is that a new parts truck? If so, how much for the door mirrors? :-) I'll let you know later today about the rest of the parts. I could also use the wiring for gas tank and dome light

Re: Parting out 72 GMC K20 4x4 350-TH350

Tom, I will take the water pump pully, the 2 groove crank pulley, driver side alt brackets ( I bought a set a few weeks back from another member, but I gave up on ever receiving them), 2 seat belt bolts (if you have 2) a price on those mirrors, if they are for sale, along with price for wire for fuel tank sender and dome light, if you have them. I'll pass on the seat belts and shroud for now. Funds are a little tight. Let me know. Thanks

Re: Parting out 72 GMC K20 4x4 350-TH350

I no longer need the pulleys or alternator brackets, but if you have the mirrors and wires mentioned in my previous post, I'm interested. I do still need the upper alternator bracket though. Just not the lower

I'm looking for the long tie rod connecting tube the goes between the left and right tie rod ends. It's tapered and threaded on both ends. Shipped to 06801 please. Thanks

Guys, just home from the Daytona 500. My wife and kids surprised me with a trip to Daytona for my 50th birthday. Just home today and I will respond tomorrow. Thanks, Tom

I looked at the front cover today for a gear gear ratio and the tag is gone. Forgot to measure the springs. I will pull a cover in the morning.

I find the cast pulley to be more common on the earlier trucks.
Yes that is a parts truck.

Ok..the ratio in this truck is 3.07. The spring eye to eye center is 52 inch or very close to that. I checked 3 other 4x4 trucks and they all measure the same. I could build a fully rebuilt 3.73 rear assembly. JLMK Thanks, Tom

Hey Tom. I will have to think about the frame as the spring length is different then mine. Mine is 56". I have bought springs for mine already. I am looking for a stock 373 posi rearend. Please keep me in mind if you find an axle.
Thanks
Scott.

Do you still have the water pump pulley? I can't tell from the picture, but is the crank pulley 2 groove as well? I need both pulleys with 2 grooves if you have them.

Ralph, I could change the ratio with no problem but shipping yours to me and back would kill the deal. Is your Sub 2wd or 4wd? I have a 3.07 posi in a 72 K10 that I could ship.

Scott, It's my understanding that all the 69-72 k10/20's have the same length rear springs and maybe the 67-68's too. What is the measurement from the front eye to the center pin? What are springs you have for? Moving the rear hanger back would be no problem. Not sure on the front.
