Re: Hazel the older Sister....
That's what started all this I was just going to paint the dash.....then I looked at the doors and the roof and thought "it will only take a few extra hours to prep all of it" that's when I "thought" I could fix the rust in a few minutes......it took me all day!

Most "normal" people it would take all week. I see you are still capable of playing "Super Keith" during your Holiday break.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
well, it's going to be worth it in the end. Fresh interior and under hood, great suspension and drivetrain with a beautiful patina'd body.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
REALLY like the wooden stands.
Perfect use for those crooked 2x4's I have laying around. Where's the Vintage Air Lines going to access the cab? Somewhere hidden? |

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
The air and heater lines will go through the heater box with something like this...more than likely I'll coat it black. Going to try and mimic to look of the stock hoses?

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Hey Kieth
Truck is looking good. You should of stuck to what you told me to do with my interior. Clean it up, put a blue seat in it and drive it. But i dont blame you. I am going to do the same thing. Patch rockers and paint inside before i put new seat, dash pad, tilt and tack. Keep the pictures coming. I am getting pictures together to start a build on the white stepper.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Sorry if i got the snowball rolling so fast. If your going to paint the inside of yours, i am going to have to paint mine. ( Your interior makes mine look nasty). I guess i will blame you for talking me into keeping mine and enjoying it for a while. Hope to get back on mone asap.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
1613 Krylon for the support and shroud, or a different color?

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Nope, spend way too much time to rattle can it It's a custom color (2k urethane) that I got from STP67-72. He painted the chassis and under the hood of his 67 stepside with it and I really like the way it looked so he got me some, I will be painting almost everything under the hood with it.
