Re: my 84 build
Ill never turn down a chance to see some pics. Ill probably have to do it just like you and order those gaskets from lmc and just re - rivet everything back together. The only problem is that my actual frame rail for the vent window is badly rusted so hopefully i just get lucky at the junk yard.

Re: my 84 build
Nothing wrong with having a plan and taking your time getting there!
My nephew had a black and silver short bed like yours a couple of years ago in Dallas until it was stolen. I still love that color combination! |

Re: my 84 build
Congrats on the baby daughter! I know mine sure changed my life in ways I'd never have imagined. They were the best things to ever have happened in my world. It also helps explain why when I first started my truck project, it sat on the back burner for about 17 years.
If you let her, she'll rock your world! |

Re: my 84 build
They will take some getting use to because you haven't had them on. I personally like the stock body look with all them trim and emblems. When I start to work on mine I plan to have it painted and put all original trim back on (well new that looks original), lower it about 5 inches and maybe add some 20" wheels or some new Rallys.

Re: my 84 build
Man sorry to hear that. Glad that the gf and you are both okay though. So what are your plans now. I would imagine you are probably looking for a new frame to swap over. Keep us posted on what is going on. I had been wondering why I hadn't seen you posting for some time now.

Cool. Mine has been painted and everything, so if that one falls through, let me know. It will be pretty cheap.
