I took a couple of pictures today of the wood outside under natural lighting.

I also took a few pics of the truck. Most of these are with me playing with my iPhone filters.

Thank you very much. It’s been fun. We just have a few small things left to finish. The most noticeable being the tailgate.

Re: '68 c10 build

The tailgate is now done too. This is still hanging in the booth and hasn't been color sanded or buffed yet. It's official though, all paint work is finished!

Re: '68 c10 build

Couple of little updates. First, these little l.e.d. license plate lights came with the rear bumper. I got them wired up and installed today. I think they look pretty good.

Re: '68 c10 build

I also finally changed out the bolts on the firewall that were holding the ecu under the dash to button heads. They look a lot better.

I also went and bought a decent looking air filter. Getting closer to being done. Just waiting on a steering wheel, need to buff the tailgate, and paint the radio delete plate.

Thank you, and I really am proud. I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked to working on it but I have learned a lot in the time I had.

Re: '68 c10 build

Did those smoothie bumpers require different brackets or do they use the same standard brackets?

Re: '68 c10 build

The steering wheel came in. It washes out in the pictures but I think it looks really good in person.

Re: '68 c10 build

This house is across the street from mine and I thought it would make for a pretty cool backdrop.
