Hey Dieseldawg, found my 4by srw Crew , picking it up this weekend! Pretty stoked, just gonna make her a work truck for now and when my 9 yr old boy is a few years older build it for him.

Re: post up your camping pics
Alright Bilfman, sounds like time for a build thread. Another 4x 3+3 is exciting.

Re: post up your camping pics
I'll definitely post a thread. I love the 1 ton 4x4z . No plans on this one being too pretty, just a beastly functional workhorse.

Re: post up your camping pics
a couple of Jamie Davis's old trucks from Highway Thru Hell (we pass his yard on the way home)
Rescue 150, the converted fire truck behind the old Western and Bruce's old Heavy Rescue 50 peterbilt. it was pretty famous on the Coquihalla long before it was on the show in it's better days (local truck show) after running the Coke for awhile, looking a little beat... |

Re: post up your camping pics
talk about extremes in weather. we went for a drive up the Fraser canyon to Blue lake a couple weekends ago, as you can see, weather was outstanding, little chilly, but sunny....
thats the Fraser river down there Blue had a scum layer of ice on it already |

Re: post up your camping pics
woke up this morning & our bathroom skylight was ripped off. found it in the back yard, incredibly it survived a 20 foot fall, was able to put it back on. only damage was some slightly wet drywall & a puddle on the floor. only thing wrecked was a stack of my four wheeler, truck trend magazines.
on the way to the kids school kids were'nt allowed outside till hydro addressed this mess on their playground trees down everywhere, too many too take pics |

Re: post up your camping pics
...tried getting into Slesse, not happening. stupid me, never thought to bring my chainsaw or grab the yank strap out of the crew....
decided to head to Tamihi creek. spotted a fire, took a couple pics, then actually ran into the forest ranger a couple miles down the road. he did not seem concerned about it all. said they were prob slash burning at Riverside. told him i was just there & it's blocked, he just kinda shrugged at me-hmph, kinda lackadaisal attitude about something burning in the forest, 'specially after all the huge fires we just had in the last few months.... |

'bout a 50 foot drop to the river tried to get a pic of the cave, when the water is low is much easier. i lightened the exposure to bring up the cave |

Re: post up your camping pics
ok, my dawg has a head.....i think, maybe not....
alright, he DOES have a head, found what he was looking for... i didn't take rat-dawg (spike) out much when dixie was alive, but with just him & diesel now, he's turning into wild-dawg. one of the problems of a small dawg, took a pic of him, yes he's in there, under the fern tuff being small in a big world... |
