Re: 1964 Caprick-up = (C10+SWB)*(94 Caprice 9C1+LT1)
That link is good too, it doesn't look like exactly what I have in mind but I can learn a lot and maybe buy some stuff from them for mounting the front sheet metal to the S10 frame. Plus they are dealing more with the model year trucks I would want to use, I don't want to cut up my 66, I like it too much

Re: 1964 Caprick-up = (C10+SWB)*(94 Caprice 9C1+LT1)
I am really trying to get going again. The big back window kit is done, cab corners done, body work done and final coat of primer. I will move it into the paint booth this weekend and wait for a good day to shoot some paint.

That gauge cluster looks like it would work really well in my 63.
You did a nice job.

Poor man's dent puller. A 7/16 by 8 inch bolt nut and washer and a big socket. worked great.

Re: 1964 Caprick-up = (C10+SWB)*(94 Caprice 9C1+LT1)
Hung the Queens City AC unit, found the problem with the dash lights. It was the dimmer switch. Bypassed it and they work. Worked on a door today. Found some rust behind the door handle while I was stripping it. Cut it out and worked on skimming it.

Queen city AC unit hung in place. Have to do some more cable management... Looking for place to run the AC and heater lines.

You should consider the Z28 cluster swap for that. I did it in my 95 SS, and it is sweet.
