Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
So part of my transformation will be to use a 1961 chevy impala dash in my truck. I love everything about those cars so why not use it's dash. Didn't start to put it in but my buddy was over so I asked to snap a pic.

That dash is gonna be so cool! The dash is one area on these trucks that isn't up to par with the exterior, IMO.

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Truck looks great man! I love that color on the frame, and have been considering doing a similar green if/when I get my body work done and move on from orange.
Out of curiosity, why did you go with an LT T56? 400 rwhp is nothing from an LS, and from what I was reading the early LT T56s were some of the weakest ('93-ish). I hate to admit it, but I've found myself driving my TransAm ('98, stroked LS1 to a 383) and hoping that someone would hit the rear end and total it so I'd have an excuse to pull out the drivetrain to drop in my C10... |

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Loving the rear camber, would be cool to have the front/rear camber match when aired out.

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Cool project! There is just something cool about rear camber on a bagged IRS. Great job! I will be watching.
PS I am also an old lowrider fan, used to have a couple impalas but never had the funds to get juice on one. I did take my wife (GF at the time) to a lowrider magazine show in OKC and took her to the hop contest, she's a keeper

Re: project "call of duty" 72 c10
Quick update. Things are looking good as far as progress. The chassis is almost all back together. Spoke to Derrick yest at accuair and I'm just waiting on a email for my setup list. I'm really loving that Accuair kit.
On a side note the drags are coming up In June. I'm working with the wizard of nos in New Zealand. So 30lbs of boost with a 150 shot should put me over 100mph in 6 seconds. 😉 Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device
