My '97 FLSTS Heritage Springer. This bike came as a fully optioned dresser, but I love it stripped down. I have the bags, rear seat, and tour pack in storage, but I run it naked!

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

Here's why my bike is painted black now. It had a black cherry with two sets of ghost flames job my buddy did within a couple years after I bought it. The paint was bubbling at the gas caps so he painted it again, but it came out more red-ish. I was disappointed, but lived with it...until I was rounding a sharp, like 90 degree, curve to my left and a car that came flying down the straight away from the other direction slid straight at me. I had to swing wide to avoid being t-boned,which made my turn to wide. I was dirt trackin' it around there with my foot down and when I just about stopped in this sloped to my left driveway my foot got knocked back by the edge of the pavement on the driveway. So,when I stopped I couldn't get my foot back in time and laid it on it's side. That put a ding in the tank,so another overall paint job. That was good for about 10 years until my dang tail light came lose on a hard ride and beat the heck out of my fender before the pigtail let go. That was it. After three custom paint jobs and being so broke I decided to go with basic lack and from now on I can fix any part any time and it will match. The best part of it is I can do it myself! I miss the trick paint, but love that good old black. It'll get some pinstripe sometime. But,I'm still too broke to worry about it now. It runs great and is a blast.

a friend of mine has a modified V-Max and that thing sounds like an Indy Car sometimes, it has such a wild tone to it that screams FAST!

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

I saw a V-Max with a blower once, but didn't hear it run or see it go. It was at a bike show. It must have been crazy fast.
