I called that kid & told him to check the title he was given against the VIN. We'll see what happens...

I was getting ready to post this one! I’m only a couple hours away from it and thought it was a pretty cool find.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

Here is a C- something or other. Guy says that it is a 1 1/2 ton. It has wide fenders but, I don't see running boards. It is a dump truck.

No engine but, it might make a good project.

Not exactly Craigslist. Here is a 1965? Chevy C-70? with 10 hole budd wheels and a 409. The body is rough. Bring a shovel and a trailer. Starts at 8:40.

Kinda crusty but it makes up for it in cool factor - 66 1 ton 4x4 Wrecker (NAPCO conversion perhaps?? No factory K30s) $3.5K. It can tow you home while it plows the way https://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto...446661728.html

Almost jumped on this, but the lack of title killed it for me.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

66 C10 swb $4K (!!)
Unless the entire driver's side sheet metal is missing, this seems like a very good deal (700R4 troubles or not).. I'd go grab it if it wouldn't make me feel like an idiot for selling mine a while back...
EDIT: It's only been listed a few hours, seller states in the ad that more pics are coming.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

60 Apache 10 lwb. Another potentially very good deal (seller seems motivated for an offer, no price listed). Bed appears very solid, as does much of the rest of it with the exception of lower rear portion of both fenders.

good eye, yes there should be a round mounting pad in the back of the 66 stepside fender for the mandatory backup light (1st year). Good indicator it's been rebuilt with a pre-66 fender.

Since we are now on the topic of tow hooks, I don't think that I have bolt holes on the front of my 1960 chevy frame horns of my truck, does anyone know how they are supposed to look when installed properly?

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

Here's a guy who's telling his wife "I've got the truck for sale, but no one seems to be calling"

RARE...1964 Chevy 3 door crew cab K10 - $22000 (Nebraska)

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...464862835.html

Possibly a 1 of 1 with all of its options. The story behind no it is that it was ordered for the railroad this way and once the dealership got it ...the railroad had decided they didn't need it anymore, so it was sold local to a farmer. It is an original 4x4 with dealer ad on AC. Has the straight six with a 4 speed. Runs and drives good...just needs restored! Very very rare pickup! Won't find another like it! To my knowledge, one of these sold on Barrett Jackson recently for almost 100K. Thanks and God Bless!! Text (71two) two two three 144two.
