Re: my 64
I like the black part, but the Y looks weird with the body lines on the hood. It may just be the pic though.

Re: my 64
I'm pretty sure I did the carb thing. It was about 30 years ago but a lesson well learned. Ebay time.

Re: my 64
Just wondering how much HP you think you'll be making? You dont think a 850 will flood it? I just cant remember what all you did to your motor.

Re: my 64
I think a 850 will flood your motor, I'm pushing just a little more HP then you. I wouldn't run over a 750 really. Might ask someone that knows a lot more then me.

Re: my 64
Ok cool, do you have any Jets? I dont know what size are in this, my buddy said he put the larges jets he could in here. You might want to play with it a little maybe clean some stuff up. Does anyone know if a Holley 4160 rebuild kit will work with the Demon It's the same set up

Re: my 64
jgh64pkup,
Its great to hear a small block chevy rumble. I havent heard my 64, well my Sons 64 in almost 2 years and it has a 68 327 in it. Yours sounds great. I hope mine sounds as good as I remember it. The last time I remember driving it, I was Idleing out of a show and the heads were a turnin!!! I also hope that two years of setting hasn't done any harm to it. Well Time will only tell the story. Your truck is really coming together and I cant wait to see the finished product. JRBECK64 |
