more pics of mine at http://www.cardomain.com/id/sublvr72

Dead link removed. Please update you pic- N2TRUX

and what i looked like when I bought it...

Originally a Custom Deluxe 20 (3/4 ton)
I did a half ton conversion, bags in the front (working on the rear), 97 Grey leather Tahoe interior, billet steering wheel, new 350 motor and trans, waiting for the 94+ caddy lights to go in, waiting for the custom roll pan to be made, then its off to paint and body work. Check out my car domain site for more details and pics http://www.cardomain.com/id/sublvr72

71 C-10 stepside

She is 97' Chevrolet Electric Red with charcoal twotone paint.

The interior is stock with the bench and dash covered in charcoal leather and matching pile carpet. The steering wheel is walnut and a Locar shifter on the floor. I took a "dial-a-temp" climate controled airconditioning system from a 70" Cadillac Calis.

Under the hood is a built 69' 500" Cadillac Eldorado engine bolted to a Th400. The rear also came from the caddy with a air-locker added.

The suspension is lowered 2" front & back. Helwig F/R Sway bar & Koni shocks keep things level. Slotted disk brakes bring her to a stop with 15X10 steel ralley wheels and 295/50 R15 Bridgestone Duallar H/Ps are on all four corners trying to keep traction .

Future mods are to be:
67' quad headlights or phantom grill with lights behind it.
Diamond Eye headlights
LED taillights
window tint

Im also playing with the idea of pulling my front chassis clip and replacing it with a newer 99'-04' chevy 4X4 clip then lowering it with an Eibach drop kit
so as to have Cyclone "like" traction.

We have had this 74 gmc shortbed since 1984. I have replaced the fenders, doors, hood, inner fenders, grill/radiator support (the whole front really). I went to the junkyard and found some trucks in good shape. It was 1/2 off day so I got a great deal on all the parts. $18 for the doors $22 for the hood. The parts were all in good shape with very little or no rust. Here are some pics of my truck when a friend of mine helped me swap the bed. its really kinda easy.
