Re: My Blue 1957 build
well, truck is back in the shop. I was having an issue with the clearance with the glove box door and the a/c unit as well as a rough spot in the steering. So once i got it there i pulled the a/c unit out to see what can be done about spacing and yanked all the steering out. Column has a bit of a rub inside, steering rack has a sticky spot were you can feel it bind and the universal joints have slop in the X joints....... rad

Re: My Blue 1957 build
Getting down to the nitty gritty....... Made up some mounts for a return spring for the brake pedal. Motor covers trimmed and mounted. Added some little pieces of angle to clean up the radiator cover. Found that both of the front brake caliper mount brackets were loose... Probable cause for the brake sticking feeling. Waiting to hear back about column and steering rack.

Re: My Blue 1957 build
Dude, great looking project. Its funny, your build is exactly what I planned to do on mine!!! Funny how plans change. Is your glove box door not opening all the way because of the evap unit? I had to trim my door quite a bit to even open partially.

Re: My Blue 1957 build
15k wow that is a hefty amount. What would they be spraying? Gold? LOL I would definitely look around more. Is that just for a solid color?

Re: My Blue 1957 build
Are you gonna drive the wheels of this truck or is it gonna be more of a weekend warrior/show truck?
