Re: Project Charity Case
Hopefully, there will be some more minor updates this year. I'll add pictures that are worthy.

Re: Project Charity Case
Nothing that is picture worthy, but here is what I have done in preparation for Hot Rod Power Tour:
-Installed front sway bar -Installed steering box from a 1977 truck (better steering ratio) -Installed new body bushings (the body lines align so much better now) I also have a power brake booster sitting on my workbench that I will install before the trip. Otherwise, I have just been using the truck for car ministry stuff and work around the house. Oh yeah, I drove it to work today (32 miles one way), which always makes the commute more enjoyable.

Re: Project Charity Case
Kinda at a stand still till maybe next week again. You know work, life, church, baby, yard work etc so finding time with 9 month old baby girl is HARD!!!! Hoping to have cab done maybe month then my buddy Ryan who was here when you stopped by works at a blasting/rod shop and there going to blast it all at reasonable rate for me and then where gonna prime and paint frame/prime cab for body work. Hoping one day it will move again on it's on power! Body work seems to be my biggest set back!

I can't wait to see "Roscoe" in a few weeks! That truck is looking SWEET! You might be a little disappointed when you see mine compared to your ride.

Re: Project Charity Case
I was just going to tell you the same thing! Don't set your expectations too high for Roscoe. The next couple of weeks are going to fly by! I'm heading out to the garage after I type this to try to get some last minute work done!

Re: Project Charity Case
Nah, nothing fun, just driving the truck whenever I get a chance. I've been thinking about picking up a set of headers for it...I originally resisted that idea because I wanted the reliability of manifolds. However, I'm not happy with how low the exhaust hangs down. If I re-do the exhaust, I might as well put a set of headers on it, right?
Of course, if money and time were infinitely available, I would install air ride on the truck, clean up some of the metal work I did in the beginning and completely restore the interior. I don't see that happening in my lifetime though. Thanks man. I'm looking forward to see your project soon.

Re: Project Charity Case
Will do. In fact, I was in your neck of the woods last night helping a friend.
Thanks. How are things with you? I just remembered, I did one modification to the truck recently. I dulled the front bumper and mirrors by wet sanding them. I've been thinking about doing it for awhile and a couple of people commented on how the bumpers didn't match the truck when I was on Power Tour. I still need to finish the rear bumper. I can take new pictures, but the changes are subtle.

Things are great. Working hard as usual. I bet power tour was fun for you and your truck. I bet a lot of people really liked it. Have any pics of that?

Re: Project Charity Case
I picked up a set of mid length headers for the truck recently. I would like to install the headers and rework the exhaust this Spring if things settle down. How are things in your neck of the woods?
