Re: I am from the Desert

the OEM rear bed cross member had a wider flange 1 inch that my roll pan bolted up to the repop had about 3/8s lip so I made flanges and used 3m body panel glue to adhere to the cross member or I would have had to weld them on and repaint etc. got them installed last night, 24 hour cure time .. lots of clamping to hold in place lined it up and bolted everything up tonight ....done
NEXT bolt up the step brackets and steps

Re: I am from the Desert

3 point belts installed today great match....Tom sent me some material samples for the belts so I could decide. I have to say the color of the buckles and floor covers ...I couldn't have gotten much closer to my interior color. I met Tom at his place in Mesa some years ago great Guy to deal with

Re: I am from the Desert

looking great so far! I like the attention to detail on cleaning up some of the oddities with these trucks like the light wiring on a step side. That's awesome you've been able to do a few shake down runs as well.

You've really got a truck to be proud of! Better than new.

Re: I am from the Desert

So nice, that there is no way I could bring myself to drive it....especially in Tucson, where the pot-holes occasionally have a piece of road on them.
