It looks like Nassau Blue. I had a 66 Vette that was that color. Looks awesome when painted right. You must use a clear coat.

I'm sure everybody else will agree with me. If that's not a confidence builder I don't know what is. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Thanks Dennis, there are a lot of BoZo's rebuilding cars. I just don't have the capital to get it going. I also don't want to borrow any if it was possible in todays economy.

Trying to keep the dream alive. Had another person call today. He has a 72 Suburban that needs redone. I don't have the room right now. It would be nice to have 2 projects (paying) going at the same time. So when one is hung up for something I could move to the other.

I hear ya. Is it possible to work from your garage like me? That cuts way down on expenses. As far as equipment, I had a shop before, and have been collecting tools for a long time. So that wasn't a problem for me. Your doing real good the way your doing it right now. Like you said get a couple going at the same time. That's why I don't have much time to do my own.

Re: 198Plus build by Alan's Classic

Instead of a how to video, I could do a how to hour 1-2 times a week via webcam with a membership if I knew how to set it up. It would be cheaper than any school and you could ask questions and sit back and drink you beverage of choice. $30/month with a video of the session for sell to members for about $10 just throwing out some ideas.

See - this is how they hook you. Starts out real friendly like, then before you know it - you're totally addicted!

Great concept, Alan - you should pursue the idea. Has a lot of merit.

If I had 40 subscribing members every month, plus advertisements I could quit My full time job. I've got something else to think about. I could get guest on there like product reps and professionals to show their tricks. My girls watch Icarley.com on TV and it has me thinking. I think I could do a web cam, but the payment portion would be greek to me.

After many hours trying to find a 64 or 65 C10 truck the color of this Chevelle..........I gave up ?????????

So then I borrowed this truck.........And gave it a new paint job !!!!!!!!!!

Came up with this.....Its close in color anyway.....Owner's probably going to be pissed, when he comes out in the morning and his truck is a different color

I did the toothpick thing. It helped to have something in my mouth besides food and a cigarette .

Hey Alan I haven't had a dip of nicotine in over a year, been dipping Cope for 25 years. I used the patch and this stuff..

If you use the patch you can quit the chew and you won't be edgy or irrtated because your still getting the nic. Then you just step the patches down. It takes the thought of chewing out of the picture. Nicotine is a tough thing to stop. Chew is even harder because it has like 3 times the amount of nicotine as smokes. I'm glad I quit. Now just I'm hooked on Rockstar, trucks, hunting, and porn.
