Your build is coming along nicely. It shouldn't be to much longer and you'll be hitting the cruizin scene, .

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Still not sure on the color. I know lots of guys know a color before they even tear into a truck, but I kind of wishy washy on it. I've thought about the flat idea, but then I worry about how easy it is to scratch those things. I like a charcoal that I've had my eye on and it would look good with my grey center Coys.

ANY IDEAS ON COLORS???? I'll take all suggestions

No flat!!! I think flat looks great on some vehicles, but yours deserves something nice and shiny IMO a darker color but not black. Dark gray, deep maroon(almost black), very dark blue. I'm rambling

I love the color combo on this car, I can't remember what he said they where but I can find out on them.

I played with the colors on mine in photoshop but I am still up in the air about it.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Well, the saga of the blazer took a twist today. Bullock(my body guy) took a job back with the Nashville Auto Diesel College. Not that big of a deal, I'm going over to his shop tomorrow and going to bring the blazer over to his house.

I guess the only downside is that he won't be working on it full-time. Just at night when he gets off work. So in other words the patience bug bites again

Well, I went back over to Jason's garage today and he was getting the last of his things out of it. I towed the blazer over to his house which is about 3 miles away.

We started talking and he's got me making a few body mods. We're(like I'm doing any of it) going to cut off the front of the door arm so when the door opens it's just the door and not the vent window frame. Also going to cut 2-3 inches out of the windshield and cut off the top of it like this orange one.

Long as there is enough windshield left to stop you from tasting the bugs.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Stopped by today and dropped off all of the front end sheetmetal, bolt kits, and grille pieces. Took some pics of the work done. Jason was at work and the tailgate wasn't there so he must have brought to work.

I've decided to weld the tailgate up and shave over the handle, but leave the letters on the gate.

Just an idea I have always wanted to see. It would fit in with your trucks look. Is to shave the holes on the top of the dash and not run a dash pad. The rest looks great shaved like that but it may need some "pins" (von dutch style) to break it up a bit.
