Re: my 98' Streetrod build
I came in very late to the build, but I'm very impressed. Not my type of build, but a lot of work put into it. Very gorgeous truck.

Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Im sorry for all the delay.
I guess I feel guilty for starting something and not finishing it in a timely manner... I have a little progress,,gonna try n load some pics. got all the wiring finished. My 1st time w/wiring,,,wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Had to punch some holes n make some covers to get to my lights,,no thanks to the body shop. redid my fuel line.Ran Aeroquipe hose all the way from tank. doing a rear disk SSBC conversion Matching rotors getting the front calipers Zink plated to match the rears. Sinse its been sitting here so long,Ive found all kinds of stuff that needed to still be done. |

Installing an alum.CPP master w/the ports on the correct side. Bleed and bleed some more and keep after it. Yall know how it goes. |

Thanks for lookin everyone.
I appreciate the kind words! I got the front calipers back today.Nuzinc in Houston did an Acid Zinc plating on them,,tried to match the ssbc calipers, which came that way.Not real close but good enough.they'll be far enough apart, wont notice the shade diff. They'll praubly be thinkin "look at those biggoh wheelz n nem little bitty brakes" Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by Inverter; 03-01-2013 at 10:50 PM. |

Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Awesome!!! I just read thru all fifteen pages! I wish I had the time and money to invest into my truck like that. Seems as it is I already spend far too much time on the details. Atleast my wife thinks so. She always says to me "it works doesn't it, why does it need to be perfect". I'd say well I guess you're right since I settled with you! But I know better. LMAO. Honestly she's a good sport about it all though. You must have someone very understanding in your life too.

Re: my 98' Streetrod build
Thanks everyone for the words.
Not active on the forums much but still have the "old truck disease". Im just "over" the polished billet wheel look.I came up w/an idea for semi flat gunmetal. It actually is the same color of the grille shell areas. My painter Brian Cortney has been doin work on this thing. Couldnt stand the ill-fitting plastic fillers.Hated to cut up my finished bumper but you know how it is when something eats at you. Workin in the back yard cause the damn garage is full. Cut up some free V covers for my valve adjustment. Down to programmin the air ride and refinishin the bumper. Got a hookup for an inspection sticker too. Not too shabby. Last edited by Inverter; 09-11-2013 at 11:37 PM. |
