My 1971 Cheyenne Super with the 1992 L98 I installed about 20 years ago. Eventually, I'm gonna figure out how to post more than one picture at a time...

I'm in.
70 short fleet 350 np 205 muncie 465 armstrong everything 121k on the odo
looking for original wheels and caps and hub locks then it will be 100% stock save for consummables (exhaust, belts, hoses, upholstry, etc.). Owned since '87, 2nd since new.
Truck still has original heat shields and emission controls (vac dash pot to control dist advance).
I use her as she was made for work, hunting, hauling, wood getting and billy goating.

Heres my 68 gmc I pulled out of this old ladys back yard. Her dad bought it new then parked it in the early 90s. Gave it to my brother as a wedding present.





After buffing it out

Nice link, but that truck has been repainted, at least the driver side door has as they did a lousy job masking around the "Custom Camper" badge.

Here's my 72 K10 Custom Deluxe with the original dark olive/white or whats left of it.

I'm not sure why the paint hasn't faded the same, passenger door and fender vs the hood. Maybe its had some spot paint work over the course of it's live time. Kinda cool effect, I have been back and forth trying to decide on repainting it or not.

I know the doors on the trucks with white roofs fade different due to the fact the white was painted first, and over sprayed on the doors. So you start seeing the white under the paint as it wears thin. I have a Dk olive truck with a white top, and it's doing the same thing

Good point Joe, I didn't think about the paint process having an affect on how the paint would fade or wear.
