Just my 2 cents, I like the idea, maybe if you went with 1 1/2 stainless tube with some gas resistant rubber L's might get er done. That hose in the photo is vent size,

Lots of welding I agree... Running boards and mounts are killer.

Keep on keepin on

Re: My 1952 truck.

Running boards turned out good! The pop up filler would be sweet but ya if your using that hose to fill it would be very very slow. Did you get your sled turbo yet?

That is one of my AC lines. It was laying around so I used it for a pointer. I would use rubber hose inside the pocket to hook up with 1.25"
hard tubing to the tank.
Mounting the running boards is the second hardest thing on these trucks I swear.
Turbo kit is still not here. The snow in the mountains is deep already.

Hate to hear about the metal in your eye. I've had it and it drove me crazy.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Been busy on the truck. Making sure gaps on bed are ok, got my shifter hooked up and working. Put in the throttle pedal and put the console back in to check things. I'm have no idea where I'm going to fit the battery.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Fixed the drivers side crappy fitting fender today. I think when it's all back together, the stance will be good. Tomorrow I'm working on my parking brake.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Looks awesome. I've heard that the reproduction fenders "don't fit too well" but that shows just how much work and skill it takes take to get them to fit right.

Re: My 1952 truck.

looks amazing, lots of work. I like the short lokars better than the long ones, but the long ones are definitely more popular.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Your making the fender the fender gap repair look easy!, they sure don't make the re-pops a bolt on product but the effort will be worth it when shes on the road.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Just viewed your thread, mad fab skills on everything. Love your wheel/tire combo, what size tires are you running front and rear? I've been thinking of going up to 20's on the front of mine. Thanks
