Re: The Old Duffer
Likearoc13 I'm doing the design work & my boy Brent Buttrey (former Co-host of Muscle Car with Lou Santiago) is doing most all the heavy lifting. If you need work done I can't recommend him enough. He's honest and does damn clean work.

Wish my truck was ready for Nashville Goodguys this weekend but it'll be LS fest before it's road ready. Can't wait!

Hood & tubs are looking good!

Are you planning to go regardless? Saturday I'll be there in the swap meet with my dad. He's driving up from Northeast MS to try & sell his rat rod. Never been to a Goodguys show before, so I'm looking forward to it. Although it doesn't look like the weather wants to cooperate!

Re: The Old Duffer
Brent has some talent. Must say I'm a little envious of guys like that who have the skills to crank out something in a day or two that would probably take me a couple weeks to do....and mine would still be a ghetto-fab hack job.
I think this truck needs a trip to the Lowcountry once you get it finished up! |

Re: The Old Duffer
That looks great.
I hope to someday be able to achieve those kind of results welding on sheetmetal.

Re: The Old Duffer
Working on fitting my tonneau. It's a really nice piece but the manufacturer apparently didn't use the measurements we gave him as it's a little long and will require trimming. The tonneau and all the trim on the truck will be given a brushed finish and be covered in clear powder coat like the outer lip of my Forgeline RB3C's.
