Re: "The way it is" 67'swb

have been very busy this spring but trying to get my cab cleaned and ready for paint. was cleaning of the schmutz by the blower hole and dammit more holes! out of doing this whole cab that side has been nothing but a pain since the start! will be looking for that section so if anyone has one let me know.
you can see the holes that magically appeared. if you look close you can see all of the other areas replaced, what a pita!

Man that cab is looking great! I really like what you did with the wire channel, it turned out awesome. Looks to me you are very close to finish it with primer.

This sounds just like my son and I....wanted to have his painted by Memorial weekend....looks more like by the end of June too. Life moves so fast some times it's hard to get anything done.

i hate haveing a firm date in my head but do like to keep moving to keep motivated. if i have a set goal then it feels to much like work and takes the hobby out of it.
however i am trying to get this done and painted so i can set it on the cab for good. my wife has several non truck projects she wants done and need to be done. i will need the cab bay of the garage for the saw horses and work space for home building supplies.

you know what i did. i had bought some duplicolor "bed armour", it does not spray on but is rolled/brushed. the only reason i had wnet with this is because it was on sale at advance for $80 and they have a $25 mail in rebate, normally $100. it is a one gallon jug and is water based so it is suppossed to last for a long time after being opened? we will see if what they say is true? hopefully it works out ok?
by the way i had ordered my painless harness, it is very nice and awesome quality! i think i am actually going to go with the powerbraid kit instead of the $100 rebate. they had provided a sample of it and it is some pretty sweet stuff and will make for a awesome clean and very protected finish!
ps you can still hold my beer while i roll
