Your truck is looking awesome. I can't wait until I'm at the point you are. Is your bag rubbing on your a-arm in the second pic? Do you have a cup underneath it?

That looks AWESOME! Man, my truck looks more and more like a buger every day

I'm going to have to sell a kidney just to keep up with some of these sweet rides on this board!

XXL - 1) I'm going to cut the old bracket off, just haven't had time. 2) I think I have about an inch with bag deflated. It's not as close as it appears in the first picture. This one gives a little better perspective.

You were not alone in your clearance issues. I should be receiving a set of lower arms shortly so I can build upper shock mounts (that will work with their new design) for the Dropmember kit.
Nathan - I called ART about this almost a year ago and they said they had no issues and hadn't received any calls saying there was a problem. I know this is not true because I've talked to other people with the same problem that told me that had called the also (and they were told the same thing I was). The thing that stinks the most, is having to pay $25 (for the new brackets) to fix "their" engineering problem and having to grind off the powercoating on the Arms to weld the new bracket on, . Oh well, I'm glad they are finally fixing it.

The Firestones are getting just under 8 inches of travel. We'll see how much Brandon gets with his Slams.

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10

6 lugs rock! Bags do not hit the steering stop on the control arm, the pic makes it look closer than it actually is. Id guess about a 1/2" gap when the truck is sitting on the bumpstops in the bags. Only a few more hours till i can run home and try these fittings out and get some lift pics. Thanks for the kind words, cant wait to tear it all down and paint and powdercoat everything.

And we have lift! There is no weight over the front but at 75psi I am getting about 8.5" of lift. No measuring tape in these but i think you will get the idea.

Nathan do you know what shock are they using since they moved the lower bracket? I'm assuming it will be shorter.

Excellent! You could park an 18-wheeler between the mount and the bag. Oh, and re ART's the we've never had a problem with that... any chance this came from the mouth of Jason?

What I understood is that they were going to go with a different upper shock mount and keep the same shock. I can find out for sure and ler you know... or maybe one of the guys from Air Ride will chime in.

Upper shock mount is on the frame... so would this be some kind of extension adapter thingie that bolts to the frame?

That's what I assume... but I don't know for sure. That's the way I will be building the upper shock mounts for the Dropmember kit.

Here's CPP's. Looks like you have to drill mount holes.

I would think a basic "loop" that rides the top edge of the frame would do the trick.

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10

It will look similar to those, except have another tab-like piece that would hang down and bolt where the original shock stud is in the frame... making it easier for locating before drilling two fresh holes in the chassis. (at least that's what it looks like in my head right now...) They will definitely need a mounting location on the side of the frame, due to the fact that the tabs will be taller than CPP,s.

we are going to be using the same shock so you don't loose any travel, but we are making a different bolt on upper mount to compensate for the upward movement . it should be available in a couple of weeks

you will have to drill some extra holes to bolt the new brackets on
