Thanks Grande! It's just a habit I have, I call my stuff junk. My wife gives me that "look" when I call her SUV junk...... It's kinda funny.

I guess to answer your question, it's an almost stock suspension with air bags. It was done by the PO and is getting taken apart this weekend, If I posted photos of the rear end, you probably wouldn't believe it was real....and I drove it I did everything else first because I didn't think the suspension was that bad..... BTW, the lugs are only on the threads by MAYBE a 1\4 inch.

Re: Calling all LWB trucks!! (lets see pics)
yeah Houp~
That thing is quite the sled--do you have a build thread or anything? I dig it. I'm also glad to see this thread having some life. It was dead for a while.

Re: Calling all LWB trucks!! (lets see pics)
Thanks man, I dig it too, it's fun to drive around in and go hang out. Unfortunatly I don't have a build thread, just some "here and there" photos but nothing in depth.

Whats your plans for your truck? It looks pretty good just the way it is. I like the "Redneck" roof horns !!!!!!!!!!

Re: Calling all LWB trucks!! (lets see pics)
Actually I'm going to spend some TLC and spruce it up a bit. The rear bumper is being replaced with a crome one and the bed is going to be redone with a light oak and light blue rails. The horns are coming off (I know....I liked them to ) and they are going onto another vehicle. The engine is getting an overhaul and while we're at it we will paint it top to bottom. The front grill is also not the best so I'm getting it recromed and also new shocks, rotors, etc. I'll post new pics in about four weeks when I get her back. Till then thanks for the interest and have a great one.
God bless.... Bell72 |
