Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
i seriously didnt think that anyone could get a cover unless they had a company and bought the cover... I love to see a normal guy (I mean your talents arent normal they are incredible) get the cover... THAT IS AWESOME

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Thanks, just fixed the door so at least that is done. Well I guess I am going to put the truck up for sale in the next few weeks. I am thinking about running it throught the auction in august in reno. Need the money to finish my 1940 ford coupe deluxe. Going to have 600 cu inch blown and injected boss motor should make 1000hp on pump gas

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
WOW!.....just went through this thread. One cool, original, well executed truck....nothing else like it and when many attempt to do the same (be different), the results can be less than impressive... and we've all seen those trucks!
I recognized Jason Haskin's shop......is that where you had it painted? They do some incredible work and are a great group of guys. NOTE TO SELF......in my next life, spend far less time (as a kid) in bars, chasing girls, wrenching on cars and learn to "wrench" on teeth instead......the rest will come later!

Awesome build and great attention to detail! Do you mind sharing who your leather man/upholstery man is? You did a killer job. Also, where are the seatbelts and side view mirrors from?

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Haskin and I painted the truck he did alot of the body and I did alot of the detail work on the chassis. He is a friend of mine and a hell of a painter. I am the one in one of the pics painting the block. We painted the body at his shop in the booth. As far as the seat belts they are there and the mirros I believe are billetspecialties but I cant recall. I have put so many custom parts and over the counter parts on this truck I have lost track. I am glad you guys like the truck. Stay tunned in on my other build 66dibella you can find the thread under my name. Should be done in a few month I will be bringing it out at the grand national along with a matching custom v twin
