as for the build going to try a CTS and see if that fixes the flooding crap. might solder my rad and see if I can fix it.

started having fuel problems so i removed the TB for a rebuild and clean, dropped the tank to clean it and my sending unit is junk due to rust so I have to change it.

and the tank removed yesterday.
you can easily see the one twisted/broke line, the other two are broke loose from the sending unit, not to mention at the end my gas hand woul dbouce and drop lower then it should and stay and such, so hope a new sending unit fixes all of that.

it took me over the course of 2 days off and on, maybe 4-6 hrs if that total but ONLY because of me doing the end by hand using sand paper.
I used a big grinder to knock off the ridges, then used a grinding stone in an electric drill to rough it out. After that is was just that, ROUGH so I used some 80 by hand, then some 150, wet sand 220, then wet 320 and that is what you see.

sending unit came in today, hopefully I can get it put in and the tank back in the truck sometime this weekend or sometime in the very near future at least.
I also have to clean and rebuild the TB, I already have the kit, just gotta get some cleaner.

put it all back together and got it running this weekend, washed it, bled the brakes and set the toe. Now I have to try and fix my radiator and tint my windows, then get my door lock rod clips in and fix the stupid handles.

wow it's been quite some time since I posted.
I fixed the lock rod clips and such, put the interior all back together. I also patched up the leaking rad heater hose nipple, solder, then jb weld so I'll hope it works for now. The biggest issues was my brakes. I could NOT get a pedal, when the truck off I could get maybe half pedal after pumping, but once running they'd hit the floor and set the brake light. I fought and fought those stupid things. I already had new calipers, pads, shoes and wheel cylinders, and when replacing the parking brake cables I tore a boot on one cylinder, so it got replaced and new hardware kit installed on both sides, as well as new front hoses up front when i rebuilt the front end. I tore the entire brake system apart, cleaned and blew thru it all with my compressor, ended up changing both rear axle hard lines, no go, changed the master cylinder, still nothing, changed the proportioning valve, nothing. As most of you know I did away with the RWAl abs crap too, well found out that fitting was leaking, it had a groove in the top for some reason and was leaking down thru the threads. I changed it with a new one, didn't help, so now I was down to one last thing, the rear brake hose. It must have been it, changed it and got a better pedal, drove it around in front of the house some doing emergency stops forward and back to adjust the rears out more and now it's much better. I think I had a combo of 3 things, one the prop valve, but ONLY after I took it apart, since it started leaking afterwards. 2 the fittings having a nick in it. 3 the rear line swelling inside making it shut off somewhat. I haven't had it out on the road yet but sometime this week I hope to. First time in months it'll be driven, well besides in and out of the yard.

I haven't had any extra cash to get anything so I wasn't able to buy the rest of my paint stuff, much less paint anything. I most likely won't have anything paint wise until next spring since it's soo late in the year now.

Can you get an installed pic of your massaged throttle body? I would be slightly concerned that the spray of the injectors would be getting out of the TB due to you taking off those tabs, but perhaps the suction is enough to keep the fuel going straight down to the blades.

nothing, just got some spring hangers in the mail for my future SAS other then that nothing at all.
I've been working on our house, have tons left to do then start on my garage, then maybe get back to buying the rest of the paint supplies so I can paint it. Also got leads on most of the sas parts as well, so it's a toss up which will be first, paint or SAS. Most likely paint because it already doesn't fit in my garage door lol.
