Re: 3r!c84 build
i sent you the link you asked for. check your mailbox. idk, he's fuel injected, and he's not through tweaking yet. go ahead and throw the bigger cam and new heads on just for $h*ts and giggles. here's a couple of links at something i'm looking at. leaning more towards the 454. nephew's fiance has a 427 that's been sitting for a while. but it's totally maxed out man. cam, heads, crank, pistons, the whole nine. he's only asking $1000. gonna take a look at it too to see if it's worth it.

Re: 3r!c84 build
i'm really leaning towards the 427. i've seen pics of it back in the day at the local track here. it was in a monte carlo, big heavy vehicle. had a 68 camaro posi in it too, which he still has. it's just talking him into it. yeah Dennis, i think he's gonna need it too. we're talking old school technology versus new school. you're close to his hp without doing anything to it arent you? not saying his motor isn't tight, just needs to spend the extra money to get it right. and while he's at it, why not throw some new pistons, let's say buy some keith black. ahh, and just anything you can think of. i wouldve done that before i put it back together honestly, i wouldve built everything.

Re: 3r!c84 build
i have no doubt you'll be in the 13's Eric. you have a solid setup. i HAVE to get to low 13 to high 12 out here. i used to be in real tight with all the nor-cal GTO guys but i left them hanging when i started my build on silver. i have told them for the last 2 years my old trucks going to whoop a goats rear! i haven't heard the end of it still. they all want a piece of her. so i GOTTA get my time down so i can laugh my butt off as i'm tapping the brake pedal with a gto on the tailgate.
