No kidding! This isn't his full time job. It makes you wonder what the heck some of the guys that do this for a living do all day.

Gees, GK - nothing much really. I managed to scratch the passenger side door, so he's going to paint that. He's also going to paint some inner fenders, radiator support and some other stuff.

We could, but we're not! That's for Short Changed. It would be nice though. Wish I had a few of those sitting around...

Fresh pix --> Firewall and frame painted

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a3...D720/ry%3D480/

Kyle finished the bodywork on the firewall and got it painted, and painted the front part of the frame today. The paint match is perfect, especially considering the high humidity he had to contend with today.

Thank you Kyle!

No, he doesn't. And what's so funny is he's so laid back - one of the most easy going people I've ever met. He gets it done quick, and it's done right too.

Re: US Tom

Looks awesome. It looks like I'll be needing a painter for mine, I wish I lived closer and not halfway across the US, I would have Kyle do mine. He does really nice work.

The only thing stopping me is rounding up the parts!!!

I decided to drop a few more parts off with Kyle to have some of his magic done on them.

Not shown in photos: Kyle installed a new, later model steering box for improved steering feel, uh, let's see.... ran new fuel lines. Oh yeah - installed a complete brake line kit.

Today he painted and installed the accessory drive brackets, the radiator support, the radiator, the carb, the transmission cross member.

I think that's about it.

If I could ever persuade the wife then I would, but I don't think that will ever happen though, she is a city girl from NY and thinks Jersey is too country

By the way the motor looks great. I love those Valve Covers.
