Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Don't believe it's for our trucks. Note tag on the GM sticker that says Metric bolts required.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I was wondering that. There are a couple others on ebay with the same part number that list them for a 67-72 chevrolet truck. But they might be wrong.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Go to LMC. Look under battery tray, you'll see the one for the 67-72 trucks.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Most ebay posts are made by people selling items that they have zero knowledge of....
The posts listing this battery tray say 67-72...which is simply incorrect...we all know the 67-72 is a totally different piece... The battery tray pictured is actually 73-87 tray... More interesting is the ebayer wants $35...LMC lists the tray for $ 13...yes, its a repop...but seriously... http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=193 |

I know it's hard for me to get my head around too, but I have at least four friends that would think noting of spending that kind of money if they wanted it.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
One more since I can’t seem to post more than 1 pic at a time.
From the ad: 1967 Chevrolet C10 fuel: gas odometer: 58000 title status: clean transmission: manual **1967 Chevrolet C10 short bed stepside in excellent original condition** $8,500 OBO -Second owner- -Meticulous maintenance records with complete documentation- -Clear Georgia title in hand- This is an extra clean, unmolested truck that I purchased two years ago after a twenty-year search. Great patina! Original Georgia C10 with straight metal and very little rust. Everything works; the truck runs and drives perfectly. I would have no hesitation about driving it anywhere. -Straight six + three speed column shift -Uncut dash with rare radio delete plate -Original painted-pine bed wood with hardware intact -Completely rebuilt seat (springs replaced/repaired, new foam, reupholstered) -New vintage seat belts -New OEM floor covering -New lamp lenses + gaskets -New muffler + exhaust system -New parking brake cables + hardware -New defrost tubes/heater ducts Maintenance has been performed religiously. I have all receipts and complete documentation, including a maintenance log detailing every time I've put gas in the truck. This truck is already in great condition as a driver, but would be an excellent starting point for a full restoration. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
351 v6 with trans (running in truck) $500 Sioux Falls.
Not mine obviously but I saw this and I have always been fascinated by these 351s. Now, I think this is a grain truck so maybe it is the magnum version, I don't know. The price sure seems low especially if you can drive it around and hear it run. -BA https://siouxfalls.craigslist.org/pt...331871165.html

This popped up on Bring A Trailer over the weekend so I'm sure it's getting a lot of attention. Nice survivor of the space age:

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Well it cranks up so it is a pop up top camper
If it didn't pop up the cabinets would be a fire hazard being that close to the stove |
