No problem. 4" dropped axle from droppedaxles.com. Contact Sid, he is a great help. 3" drop posies leaf springs front and rear. 4" lowering blocks rear. Wheels from wheelsmith.com. They are the stock backspacing and dimensions. I will get back with the tire specs.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Wow ! My 54 just has the 3" Posies springs. I like your's that low. Sadly the original motor now has a knock so I bought a 69 C-20 to replace the 54 as my driver.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Your truck is looking sharp. Are you keeping the 6v system with the new motor? I can also get a 235 out of a 1960 impala but haven't decided yet.

Already done gone and went 12v. Rewired bumper to bumper. Alt w/internal reg. Drove the heck out of the old gal. Rebuild the motor this summer then drive the heck out of it again.

My new ride is a pretty stock frame off resto aside from a bit of extra chrome and slight lowering. Have a couple things in mind for it....

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Thanks man, the tires are 255/45/20 and the running boards in the first picture are 8 inches to the ground, but the other two pictures it's more like 6 1/2. I raised the truck to give it more ground clearance
