Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Me and my 11 year old daughter took the 71 to the cemetery to visit some long lost friends as we sat there in the sun I could not believe how many people stopped and looked at the truck. I probably had more views there than at the car shows

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Installed the remote starter solenoid to combat the heat soak starter issue I have been having. Cost about 30 bucks. Now I'm gonna have to drive it on a couple of hot days to see if it is fixed.

Where did you pick up your remote solenoid, and you'll have to let me know how it works. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
After we got the front clip on yesterday, I couldn't help myself. Even tho it was Sunday, I had to go over to the shop to check it out. Well, I came dragging a$$ home five hours later after fixing some stuff..
....finding out what I needed to re-do, and then doing some wiring. More cracks in the old brake lines. LMC gets another $150 for ss lines..... I bent one myself (to the back...it's not leaking). Gotta make a new hard line for the fuel pump to the filter. It got "nastied" from the install of the front... hung up on the passenger side (of course) inner. Both trans lines had to be re-bent. They would have scraped the harmonic balancer until...well, more leaking river of trans fluid. The top rad. hose is 5" too short. I'll look for something.....That kind of stuff happens, 'eh? My friend is making a plate for the firewall for the Vintage Air/Heater inlet/outlets. Design is under way.

Started our budget emblem restoration.
Steel Wool + Patience = Shiny Patience + Paint = Not too bad! I am thrilled with how the first one turned out. They are not perfect, some are pitted worse than others, but for a driver they are gonna make a hige difference. Thanks for listening, Jeremy |

removed the steering box, removed the transfer case. turns out that ignorant youth makes it alot easier to remove a 205 by yourself. when did they get so heavy? it used to be easier.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Didn't get a ton of work done today, had to fix a lawnmower for my dad, and promptly busted a sprinkler head testing it out...
I mounted the winch box and tested the winch out and stretched out my cable. I got a little done on the mockup, but I'm not sure which way to proceed just yet... |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Installed Hooker block hugger headers, MSD cap/rotor, Accel super coil, and wires.
My old TH400 unrapped it from its tome. Gonna get it all cleaned up tomorrow. And of course a comparison of my new 2,900rpm stall and my factory p.o.s.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
And then, I needed to make up a little relay panel. Something to control some offroad lights and anything else I might want to add later.
Oh man, had to terminate how many wires... Put this over by the battery And all closed up

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
This weekend I picked up my 454 and modified my 68 BBC frame mounts I got off of ebay to work with my sbc motor mounts so I don't have to buy the expensive BBC ones.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Sorry, I just saw this.
I picked it up from these guys. http://www.evsource.com/tls_fuseblocks.php They had all the connectors and relays, too. But, they took almost 3 weeks to ship.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Built the shifter linkage, bought a new starter... Actually took two days, we kept breaking the welds. Paid $ 50.00 for the starter.
