I have been driving it on weekends and in nice weather during the week some. It has just over 6200 on the clicker. I have to do some upgrades before my next big road trip.
Glad to see you're still enjoying your truck as well. I haven't been taking many pics. sorry.....

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Got to do some cruising with the AC on during the 4th holiday. The truck has just right at 6000 miles on it and I haven't had any serious issues yet. Still planning upgrades, but it's plenty fun to drive as it is.

Yup... Their policy change has decimated many threads. There are a few threads about this issue already. All you have to do is pay photobucket a small fee of $400 per year to keep third party hosting privileges.

Unbelievable! I'm so pissed off about this hostage taking! I won't pay it. My thread is completely hosted by photobucket too. I've used them since 2003. What the hell are they thinking....

I can and probably will do just that. It really bothers me though. It will take days literally. I should have seen it coming along time ago.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Starting on a new project, here's a sneak peek. It's a 67 RS car. It will get the full restoration treatment. I'll start a real build thread when I have some new metal to weld in.

I hear ya on the PB crap. I know I have a lot of blank threads now. Awesome deal on starting on the Camaro. Is the other one you have for parts or are you going to build it later too?

I'm in the same boat with PhotoF-it too. Looks like I'll have no thread for a while until I figure out what pictures go where and start doing photo uploads again. Damn money grubbing Ba$+ard$

That Camaro looks like a good project. Should be fun to watch. Be sure to post up a link to a thread if you do one.

Sorry you are facing the same BS with your pictures. I think I've been using their site for like 15 years....
Camaro is going to be fun for sure. I will post a link when I'm ready to start a thread.

Yeah I'm good with the rust repair. It shouldn't be much worse than fixing our cabs...

It looks to me you're better off than I with the 71 Challenger I got. It needs everything besides a roof skin.

Are you going stockish or a pro touring type build with this one?

The floors are surprisingly solid on this car. I'm planning on a nice driver with suspension and engine/tranny upgrades. Nothing too extreme, I'm on a tight budget....

First GEN F-body rebuilds & 'tight budget' don't belong in the same sentence

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

I don't think it matters anymore if you're doing a total resto on any vehicle. Nothing is cheap and if it is, it sucks. I almost sold the Challenger mess when I started looking at the price of parts to restore it.

Truck is looking great Mike. Nice to see you have been driving it for a while with no major issues.

I hope to have my stepside on the road this spring. It is moving under its own power for the first time since I bought it. Just a few bugs to work out and some small stuff to finish off before I can take it to the alignment shop. Can't wait for the snow to go away.

Good to see you on here. It's cool you are on your way to having your stepside back on the road. 10-4 on the snow. We haven't had much but it's been too cold to do much of anything here.
